TOTAL CHAOS introduces a 2” extended long travel IFS suspension system designed to eliminate the need to install fiberglass fenders and provide 11.5” of wheel travel with 4wd on the FJ Cruiser (only). A maximum tire size of 285/75R16 or 285/70R17 is recommended. 4Runner applications running larger than a 275x75R16 will require fender modifications. Several features that are standard on TC’s 3.5” extended race kit released in 2005 were retained in the design of this kit.

By installing this kit to your 4wd you will relax the angle on the inner and CV joints by 2-3 degrees. This inexpensive upgrade will add extra life to rubber CV boots. Zinc plated CNC diff spacers wont rust.

TC takes remanufactured Toyota Tundra axle shafts and modifies them to achieve the full 13” of wheel travel that the TC long travel kit will provide. The axle shafts also include high angle inner CV boots with new clamps and come ready to install. To retain 4wd after installing a TC Tundra long travel kit, TOTAL CHAOS offers these custom extended 4340 axle shafts. These axles are machined out of 4340 material and are heat treated and plated. The axles are exactly 3 1/2” longer than the factory axles to match the added width of the TC long travel system. They will allow for the full 13” of wheel travel that the TC long travel kit provides. The axles must be inserted into the factory inner and outer CV joints prior to installation. TC includes high angle inner CV boots and clamps with the axles.

Bad upper ball joints? We developed the solution! When you maximize lift with the installation of aftermarket shocks your upper ball joint cycles at extreme angles that it was not designed or intended to cycle to. TC developed the slug adapter and 1" Uniball bolt-on conversion originally for our long travel kits that demanded higher articulation angles for the increased wheel travel. Providing nothing but the best components available, our UCA’s will outlast the lesser quality brands that have produced knock offs in an attempt to follow.

Our commitment to raise the bar in bolt on performance suspensions aided in the development of a lower control arm that features a pre-tabbed dual 2.5 shock set up as well as an upper control arm that incorporates a 1” Uniball.

TC offers the replacement 6 lug Upper Control Arm system for your 2003-2009 4Runner that upgrades the factory ball joint to a 1" Uniball and maintains a 100% bolt on application. When aftermarket lifts are installed on these model vehicles the OEM suspension design looses caster. By altering the factory caster, the vehicle will lose on road handling & performance and has a tendency to wander when driving down the road. TC developed the UCAs to add caster to the suspension when aftermarket coil over shocks and other lifts are installed.
