This tent is very similar to the Expedition Plus Roof Top Tent (RTT9008) in that the dimensions are exactly the same with the only real difference being that there is an overhang that covers the entry/exit for the tent. This overhang provides just a little more privacy as well as some additional protection from the elements. The Overland Plus Series Roof Top Tent has a medium sized footprint suitable for 2 people with additional room for gear.

This tent is the largest within the Mombasa lineup. The Adventure II Series Roof Top Tent has the largest sized footprint suitable for 3 people with additional room for gear. Additionally it features the same universal mounting system that all Mombasa tents feature allowing it to literally mount to anything whether it be factory load/roof bars on your SUV or Subaru, Thule or Yakima cross bars or most aftermarket roofracks including all the racks we sell.

Additionally it features the same universal mounting system that all Mombasa tents feature allowing it to literally mount to anything whether it be factory load/roof bars on your SUV or Subaru, Thule or Yakima cross bars or most aftermarket roofracks including all the racks we sell. The new mounting system on the Roof Top Tent also gives you the option to mount your RTT to be opened to the rear, side or in some cases even to the front of the vehicle.

The Mombasa 3.0 meter (9.8ft) awning will protect you from the sun and keep you dry in the rain. The dimensions of the awning when extended are 9.8' (3.0M) wide by approximately 7' when extended from the side of the vehicle. This awning comes with L brackets for easy mounting. For some racks including BajaRack there is an additional Awning Mount bracket available to ease the mounting process.

The dimensions of the awning when extended are 6.5' (2.0M) wide by approximately 7' when extended from the side of the vehicle. This awning comes with L brackets for easy mounting.
